Dominic’s extensive knowledge and experience in retirement and investment planning are significant assets to clients of Caputo Financial Group, LLC. After seven years of financial services experience with Fidelity Investments’ High Net Worth clients, he decided to use his knowledge and wealth management expertise in an independent financial planning environment. In 2005, Dominic joined an independent advisory firm, where he continued to develop his skills in the areas of estate planning and risk management. Dominic established Caputo Financial Group, LLC in November of 2006 with the goal of helping his clients in every aspect of their financial lives with a commitment to personalized service and a disciplined approach to pursuing their financial goals.
Dominic has pursued professional education and credentials to help improve the services he provides. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ Practitioner and holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from Merrimack College. The CFP® is a demonstration of his commitment to higher ethical standards and broad knowledge of all aspects of financial planning. Dominic has focused his continued education on retirement planning. As a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), he assists clients to envision and realize their pre-retirement and post-retirement planning goals. Dominic is Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC), which has helped him to educate and plan for the progression of clients’ health care needs and the impact to their families in the event of needing custodial care. The Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®) designation helps Dominic assist business owners in understanding and selecting retirement plans based upon their company’s needs.
Dominic’s undergraduate work was completed with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire in 1996. He has successfully completed the FINRA sponsored Series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 66 exams, as well as holding Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses. Dominic enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children, golfing and serving on the board of a local charity benefiting families with a member on the Autism spectrum.
